Israel shines her light brightly as she extends her helping hand to Turkey in the aftermath of their devasting earthquakes.

In our Current Events section on page 8, read how the ICEJ quickly partnered with Israeli first responders, United Hatzalah, in their efforts to help bring urgent aid and relief to Turkey.

This edition of the Word from Jerusalem magazine also features two informative Biblical teachings. In ‘Abraham Saw my Day’, ICEJ President Dr. Jürgen Bühler continues his teaching on Abraham, starting with the verse from John 8:56 “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad”. He then takes you on the journey to Abraham’s sacrificial dedication of Isaac to God’s purposes, as he sees God’s willingness to give His ultimate sacrificial gift to save the world.

In the teaching ‘Witnesses of Israel’s Resurrection,’ ICEJ Vice President & Senior Spokesman David Parsons looks at the added meaning of being a “witness” in the Hebrew mindset, and at God’s resurrection power in reviving national Israel even as the modern-day nation prepares to turn 75 years old.
