Merry Christmas from the ICEJ
Published on: 23.12.2023Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,
On behalf of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem leadership and staff, I extend our warmest wishes to you for a joyous Christmas and a blessed New Year.
Thank you for your generous support and heartfelt prayers this past year. The year 2023 started as a time to celebrate 75 years of Israel’s independence. But it will be remembered as a year of great internal division and as one of the darkest moments in Jewish history since the Holocaust, when over 1,400 Israelis were killed or kidnapped in a single day. So as Christian families around the world celebrate the birth of Christ, our Israeli friends will still be mourning their losses and confronting the evil of Hamas.
The Christian Embassy’s response to this crisis was immediate, with urgent war relief efforts across the nation, plus daily prayer gatherings with times of fasting, and pro-Israel solidarity rallies worldwide. Your gifts and support for Israel have made a significant impact on a nation that really needed its Christian friends as never before. During this year, we also were able to assist many Holocaust survivors and help thousands of Jews to finally reach the Promised Land, among other actions of comfort and care for Israel.
So, thank you again for your continued support of our ministry!
I invite you to watch our Christmas greeting message below and wishing you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful and blessed New Year filled with peace, good health, and prospering in the Lord.
Warm regards
Dr. Jürgen Bühler
President
