Special Global Prayer Gathering Monday 7 October

Dear friends and prayer partners,

This coming Monday, October 7 will mark one year since the brutal Hamas invasion of Israel on Simchat Torah last year. Since those early dark days of the ensuing conflict, Israel has slowly risen from the ashes, pain and turmoil of the October 7 massacres, and has regained its confidence and turned the tide of battle. In fact, Israel’s recent series of impressive intelligence and military successes against Hizbullah in Lebanon and Iran itself have renewed hopes that the entire region can be freed from Tehran’s radical Islamic scheme to destroy Israel and dominate the Middle East.

This has all been possible because the God of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He has risen in His jealousy to defend this nation. And we know that you – our faithful prayer partners around the globe – have played a vital role in interceding for Israel’s deliverance and victory throughout this past year.

So, please join us this coming Monday, October 7, for a special Global Prayer Gathering to mark one year since the current conflict began. We will hear from local Israeli pastors how this war has affected their congregations and communities, and how we can continue to lift them up in prayer.

Plus, we will have a special greeting from ICEJ President Dr. Jürgen Bühler to all our faithful GPG family. Finally, we want to use this moment to thank everyone who has stood in intercession for Israel through the ICEJ’s Global Prayer Gathering, our Rosh Chodesh online prayer chain, and so many other Christian prayer initiatives around the world.

This Monday will mark a special time to remember the fallen, to petition the Lord once more on behalf of the hostages, and to praise the Lord of Hosts for being such an incredible shield for Israel!

Hoping to see you on the GPG this Monday!
