Part Two

“Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”

 – Acts 17:11

In this verse, we discover believers who were eager to receive Paul’s message, yet also displayed wisdom by digging into the Scriptures to make sure Paul’s teaching aligned with God’s truth. 

ICEJ President Jürgen Bühler, addresses the destructive trend in the modern Church to separate from the word of God, and emphasises the great importance to value and read the Bible every day: “The Word of God, from Genesis to Revelation, is squarely about the person of Jesus.”
