Feast Worship

At the Feast of Tabernacles 2018, Aaron Shust lead worship and performed his original song, “Zion.” This was a dream come true for him, because it was his very first opportunity to sing “Zion” in the actual place of Zion in Jerusalem!

Aaron has had many opportunities to sing this song, and each time he does, he also explains the heart behind the lyrics:

“Oh, daughters of Zion. Oh, Abraham’s sons. Hear the words of your Father. Hear His promise of love. I will make you a blessing, so count the stars if you can. You will be a great nation. I will give you this land. I will bring you back home.”

These lyrics – taken directly from Scripture passages – demonstrate God’s heart and purposes for the Jewish people and Israel. When Aaron performs this song, he asks the crowd, “Do you believe God keeps His promises?” And everyone usually shouts, “Yes!” So Aaron responds, referencing Romans 11: “Well, God keeps His promises with Israel, too!”

We are thankful for our promise-keeping God and His incredible plans for the people and land of Israel! As you watch this video, be inspired to come to Zion and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles with us, which is less than three weeks away!
